Appearance: Her basic appearance is that of a 12 year old girl who is a bit short for her age with long red hair which is wavy when down but is usually kept in a braid down her back. She has one stubborn, shorter, lock of hair on top of her head that sticks straight up and looks a bit like a feather. Also, while it's usually hidden by her cloths, she has a big purple birthmark that covers the front of her torso, one shoulder and part of her left arm and resembles large claw marks.
Ahiru has at least four different outfits she wears depending on the occasion. Most often seen is her school uniform, which consists of a long sleeved jacket with puffed shoulders, a shirt and a wide skirt. The jacket and the skirt are grey with pale royal blue trim and the shirt is plain white. Her practice outfit is a plain lite blue leotard and tights. She keeps her long hair tide in a bun to keep it out of her way during practice. Her casual wear consists of a plain white shirt, brown shorts, brown hiking boots and a brown page boy cap on her head, pulled back a bit so that her "cowlick" isn't covered by it. When she's going to fight, she puts on a light grey long sleeve tunic and matching trousers with a black leather belt around her waste that holds her scabbard and black boots.
Personality: She's a very kind hearted girl who likes people, but she's also very over protective of her friends, especially Rue, who she's a bit of a mother hen too, and quite hot headed. She's also highly stubborn and refuses to give up on anything she's set her mind to no matter what it is, especially when her friends are involved somehow.
She has a tendency to spazz, especially when she's worried or upset over something. She can be excitable at times of high stress and when that happens or when she’s just upset, she tends to become more clumsy than usual. She can be easily be worked into a fit of near hysterical worry if anything happens to Rue, especially if it's serious.
Ahiru has low self esteem issues and can be some times become discouraged, believing herself doomed to fail as the reincarnation of the Useless Knight who failed to protect her princess and because she's so clumsy and not a very good swords woman, but no matter how bad it gets she will keep going, because even if she will ultimately fail, others are counting on her and she can't give up. She never loses hope that somehow, she might be able to break free of her fate and actually make some sort of difference, even if wielding a sword isn't the way.

Abilities/Strengths: She has... enough skill with a sword to wield one without chopping her own head off. XD She could take down an opponent as long as they're not more skilled than her. She's also very stubborn and doesn't give up easily. She'll get right back up again no matter how hard she gets knocked down and no matter how many times. Especially when Rue or anyone else she's decided to protect is in danger.
Although she doesn't remember this, she also has the same ability that Drosselmeyer, the writer who wrote the Princess and the Raven, used in order to make the stories her wrote a reality and still uses to keep Kinkan Town trapped inside his twisted storybook world.
Weapons: The Sword of the Knight from the Princess and the Raven
Weaknesses: Ahiru is a klutz, less of one than her OU counterpart, mostly likely because she's human instead of a duck with a human form, so while she's still not in the advanced class in the Ballet school like Rue, she's never dropped down into apprentice level. She tends to get even more so when she is stressed out however.
It helps that she has training sword fighting, but she is not very good at that. There are plenty of more skilled opponents who could take her out quite easily, including many who have trained as long as she has, but she can hold her own for the most part.
Her biggest weakness perhaps, is her lack of self-esteem. Which is vast.
